Our client is a leading brand within the camping outdoors market manufacturing a range of top end, expedition level tents, family camping tents and clothing accessories including extreme weather hats, gloves and gaiters.
Export Sales Manager - International Sales Manager - The Role
Due to expansion they are looking to recruit an experienced Export Sales Manager to develop and lead their exports sales. The company is already established in Scandinavian countries with trading footholds within Europe, the USA, Australia and New Zealand but is looking to expand their export market through the development of a coherent export strategy.
The Export Sales Manager will develop and implement their own export sales strategy aimed at developing sales through distributors to retailers worldwide. The role will report directly to the Sales Director taking full responsibility for all export sales.
Sales Development into both existing markets and new countries you will be selling directly to distributors.
* Working with distributors to help develop their sales and marketing strategy to retailers in the target countries.
* Growing and increasing on current clients and territories using new business development and account management
* Dealing with technical enquiries, providing sales quotes and processing orders
* Representing the company on client visits and trade shows
Export Sales Manager - International Sales Manager - The Candidate
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of export sales and business development with a good understanding and knowledge of distributor networks worldwide, how to find, approach and cultivate relationships with distributors. Experience within the Outdoors market would be preferred but is not essential. You will have a willingness to Travel and work outside of the normal working hours to get the job done. A second European language would be an advantage.
The company offers a competitive salary, 28 days holidays per year(including stats) plus car allowance and / or mileage allowance.
