Based at our Cauldon Campus, you'll teach life and living skills, personal and social development and employability skills to post-16 learners with learning difficulties and disabilities. This will include extensive collaboration with learning support assistants as well as pastoral care. You will also contribute to internal verification and standardisation meetings.

Your background in teaching will include support of people with learning difficulties or disabilities. You'll either hold a teaching qualification (Cert Ed, PGCE or DTLLS) or be committed to achieving one. This includes attainment of Level 2 qualifications in Maths and English (GCSE A* - C or equivalent). Excellent communication, personal organisation and administration skills are essential. This post is subject to an Enhanced CRB Disclosure.
